10 October 2026: Screenprinting & Graphics Association of India (SGAI) has announced that SGAI – ASGA India Expo 2027 will run from 21 to 23 January 2027 at CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre in Vashi, Navi Mumbai. The inaugural exhibition aims to connect printing suppliers and users through equipment displays and business meetings.
What will SGAI – ASGA India Expo 2027 cover?
The organiser plans a business-to-business exhibition covering screen printing, textile printing and digital printing. Its official event outline describes machinery and product displays, technical knowledge-sharing and networking as the main reasons to attend. The aim is to bring suppliers and printing businesses together to discuss production needs and potential partnerships.
Alongside product displays, the organiser plans sessions with industry speakers and an awards ceremony recognising members of the screen-printing community. Its website also lists business matchmaking among the proposed networking activities, giving participants a way to discuss requirements with potential suppliers and partners.
Screen Print India’s guide to screen printing for packaging explains how ink selection, surface preparation and curing affect results, providing useful background for supplier discussions.
Who should exhibit or visit?
The Exhibitor groups as:
- Manufacturers supplying printing machinery, products and related technology.
- Distributors and dealers serving printing businesses.
- Service providers supporting screen, textile or digital printing processes.
- Technology and knowledge providers working with the industry.
The intended visitors include industrial screen printers, technicians, consultants and entrepreneurs, alongside professionals and end users who use these printing processes in their businesses. This profile extends beyond print-shop owners to people who specify equipment, support production or buy printing services.
International support and organiser’s aims
ESMA’s announcement lists support from the Asia Screen Printing & Graphic Imaging Association (ASGA), the European Specialist Printing Manufacturers Association (ESMA) and SDPE China 2026, the Guangzhou International Screen Printing and Digital Intelligent Printing Expo. SDPE is a trade exhibition, distinct from the two industry associations.
SGAI President Anil Brahmbhatt encouraged industry members to participate and said the association hopes to attract visitor delegations from overseas. The announcement does not identify confirmed overseas delegations.
SGAI’s work on industry connections
SGAI was formed in 2006 and its representing Indian screen-printing businesses, opening markets and helping members connect with business communities outside India. Its recent activities include SGAI’s Mumbai technology seminar on 17 April 2026, which covered high-accuracy production and precision stencils. The January exhibition adds a supplier-and-buyer format to that technical exchange. SGAI works tirelessly on several fronts with the intent of ensuring that Indian screen print businesses are better represented and showcased, not only within the country but also beyond our borders. Expanding the market for the Indian screen print industry remains a key objective.
